Q. Why is this event free?
A. Wellington Marathon Clinic are providing this to the community as a service … and to remember Andy.
Q. Will there be toilets at the start & finish?
A. There will be two portaloos at George Denton Park
Q. Where can I park?
A. There isn’t a lot of parking near George Denton Park, so we suggest you car-pool if possible. We will have people to assist with parking on Highbury Road.
Q. What sort of timing equipment will be used?
A. For this price there are only stopwatches (and your own watch)! People’s times will be uploaded onto a web site within 24 hours of the event.
Q. Will there be food and/or drink at this event?
A. Water will be available at the finish. We will also provide some fruity snack. No coffee though.
Q. Why do I have to register online beforehand?
A. You don’t- it is possible to sign on the day, however things will be a lot less rushed if you do register online.
Q. What chance is there of getting lost on the course?
A. Pretty low. The track will be marked with ribbons of a distinctive colour. There will also be marshals at all major turnoffs.
Q. Can I bring my family?
A. You can, though children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult around the course.
Q. Can wheelchairs go on this course?
A. These trails are not suitable for wheelchairs.
